The rules and expectations that govern your use of TeeKonect
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and TeeKonect ("we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the TeeKonect platform, including the web application at teekonect.com and the TeeKonect mobile application (together, the "Service").
If you are using TeeKonect on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you personally and that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not create an account or use the Service.
You may use TeeKonect only if:
To access most features of TeeKonect, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You must verify your email address before you can log in. We may also offer registration via Google or Apple Sign-In.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. Providing false or misleading information is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
TeeKonect enables you to create digital business cards ("Cards") containing your professional contact and identity information. You retain ownership of the content you add to your Cards. By creating a Card, you grant TeeKonect a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit your Card content solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.
Each Card is assigned a unique shareable link and QR code. When you share this link or code, anyone who receives it can view your Card, save your contact details, or download a VCF file. You are responsible for controlling who you share your Card with. TeeKonect is not responsible for any disclosure of information resulting from sharing your Card link.
Physical NFC cards issued through TeeKonect are linked to your digital profile. If you transfer or lose a physical NFC card, you should update or deactivate your linked profile immediately to prevent unintended access to your contact information.
Your Card must not contain content that is defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, obscene, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party. We reserve the right to remove any Card content that violates these restrictions.
If you create or administer an Organisation account, you are responsible for all activity within that organisation, including the actions of staff members you invite. You must only invite individuals who have consented to join your organisation on TeeKonect.
Staff members added to an organisation account acknowledge that their profile data and card activity may be visible to the organisation administrator. The organisation administrator may issue cards, revoke cards, and reassign cards on behalf of staff members.
Organisation features are subject to the subscription plan selected. Exceeding the limits of your plan (maximum users, templates, or integrations) may restrict access to certain features until you upgrade.

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes by email. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
TeeKonect includes AI-assisted tools including voice-to-appointment parsing, natural language scheduling, and meeting recap generation ("AI Features"). By using AI Features, you acknowledge:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these restrictions, with or without prior notice.
The TeeKonect platform, including its design, code, branding, logos, card templates, and documentation, is owned by TeeKonect and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our platform without our written permission.
You retain full ownership of the content you create on TeeKonect — including your profile information, card designs, photos, and contact data. You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content solely to operate the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about TeeKonect, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Your use of TeeKonect is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using TeeKonect, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep TeeKonect available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service as a whole at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, upgrades, or business reasons. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TeeKonect and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to TeeKonect in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TeeKonect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We are not liable for any loss resulting from a termination carried out in accordance with these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at legal@teekonect.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of TeeKonect after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
